WILDERARCHITECTURE FOUNDER RECOGNIZED BY AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTS

Larry Wilder, AIA, founder of WILDERARCHITECTURE was recognized with the Silver Medal by the Florida Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.

This state-wide award is given to recognize an architect whose leadership in community activities and service has been a direct benefit to the profession and community. “Larry’s leadership and service demonstrated, beyond any reasonable doubt, qualities, outcomes in works of art, programs or civic influences that have benefited the profession or the community,” said AIA Florida President Martin Diaz Yabor during the Honor Awards Ceremony on Saturday, July 23rd.

Larry Wilder, AIA has served as a leader in the City of Tampa Public Art Committee, Boy Scouts of America, Hillsborough Community College Foundation Board, Leadership Tampa Bay, Leadership Tampa, Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful, and the American Institute of Architects. Larry also co-founded the Hooked on Education Fishing Tournament, raising more than $650,000 in support of the Hillsborough Education Foundation and has donated pro-bono design services to Nature’s Classroom, Palma Ceia United Methodist Church, and the City of Tampa’s September 11th Memorial.
